✨ Kama: The Art of Pleasure & Connection

What brings you pleasure? What do you desire? Where do you go to feel connected, nourished, and alive?
In Vedic philosophy, Kama is one of the four Purusharthas—the aims of human life. Often translated as pleasure or desire, Kama encompasses much more than romantic relationships. It includes our capacity for enjoyment, beauty, connection, affection, and the experiences that make life feel meaningful and pleasurable.

As Venus enters Scorpio and prepares to turn retrograde in October, we’re entering a period of reflection around relationships, bonds with others, desire, and the ways we seek harmony and peace.

In this class, we’ll explore Kama through a Vedic lens and then bring the conversation into our own birth charts. We’ll look at where themes of pleasure and connection show up for us, using the chart as a tool for understanding our individual needs and desires.
